Agency name generator
Professional names for creative, marketing, design and digital agencies, with domain availability checked live.
What makes a good agency name
Agencies sell taste, so the name is the first portfolio piece a prospect sees. The founders'-surnames model ("Smith & Partners") still works for law and accountancy, but creative shops increasingly choose a single evocative word or an invented one that looks good on a proposal cover and a Slack workspace. This page sets the generator to a professional register: calm, confident names without the startup "-ly" feel, and checks the .com and .co that clients expect to see on a business card.
Describe your specialism and your ideal client rather than listing services. "Branding for boutique hotels" produces names with the right texture; "full-service digital agency" produces noise.
Tips that save a rename
- Avoid "Digital", "Media" and "Creative" in the name; they are the three most common words in agency names and make you invisible in search.
- Check how the name looks as an email signature and a proposal footer, not just a logo.
- Confirm the name is free in your local companies register before you buy the domain.
- If you plan to grow into a studio or a product, choose a name that does not pin you to one service.
Should an agency name include the service it offers?
Only if you want to be found by that service term, and even then it is better placed in the tagline. Service-named agencies struggle to rebrand when they expand.
Is .agency a good extension?
It is clear but long to type. Most clients still expect .com; use .agency as a redirect or when the .com is a premium you cannot justify.
How do I check if another agency has the same name?
Search LinkedIn, Clutch and your national companies register. Two agencies with the same name in the same market is a trademark dispute waiting to happen.

Frequently asked questions
Everything you need to know about our domain name generator.
Is NamePulsar free?
Yes. Generating names, scoring them and checking availability is free and needs no account. When you register a domain, you do it directly with the registrar.
How accurate is the availability check?
We query DNS and the official RDAP registry data in real time. “Available” means the registry has no record of the domain. “Likely available” means the domain has no DNS records but that registry doesn't offer RDAP to confirm. Premium or reserved names can still cost more at the registrar, so always confirm at checkout.
What is the Pulse score?
A 1–10 brandability estimate based on length, pronounceability, syllable count and spelling pitfalls (digits, awkward consonant clusters, double letters). It helps you compare names; it says nothing about trademarks, so run a trademark search before you commit.
Which domain extensions are supported?
.com, .io, .ai, .co, .app, .dev, .net, .org, .xyz, .me, .eu, .de and .ro. Choose the ones you care about before you generate, or hit “all extensions” on any card.
Do you store my project description or shortlist?
No. Your description is sent to the AI model to generate names and isn't saved by NamePulsar. Your shortlist lives only in your browser; share links simply carry the names in the URL.
What makes a good brandable domain name?
Short (ideally under 10 characters), easy to spell after hearing it once, easy to pronounce, distinctive enough to trademark, and available as a .com or a strong alternative like .io or .ai.
